Ivan Maximov es un animador ruso. Se le conoce principalmente por sus animaciones surrealistas aunque su biografía cuenta que fue ingeniero y trabajó para el instituto de investigación espacial ruso antes de dedicarse exclusivamente a la animación e ilustración. De estos dos cortos lo más interesante es la utilización de movimientos y gestos cíclicos, con un aspecto rutinario, que se ven alterados por circunstancias que los transforman. Ivan Maximov is a russian animator. He is mainly known for his surrealistic animations, but his biograpy says that he was fist engineer and worked for the Russian Space Research Institute just before dedicating full time to animation and illustration. From this short films, the most interesting is the use of cyclic movements and gestures, with a monotonous aspect, that are changed and transformed by the circumstances. See more animations here.
